François Hollande is our new President in France! He was elected  last Sunday, on the 6th May 2012.

He's 57 years old, and he was born on 12th August 1954 in Rouen. 

His father's name was Georges Hollande and he was a doctor. His mother's name was Nicole Tribert, she was a social worker.

When he was younger, he studied at "Saint Jean-Baptiste de La Salle" school , and  then at l'Institut d'études politiques in Paris. 

He has got four chlidren: Thomas, Clémence, Julia and Flora. He had his children with his first partner called Ségolène Royal, but they never got married. They separated in 2007, after 30 years together.
 Now, his new partner is Valérie Trierweiler . She is a journalist.
